“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His faithful servant” – Psalm 116:15
We submit to the will of God, whom it has pleased to call Rev. Johnson Olatuyi home to glory yesterday Tuesday 17th August, 2021.
Rev. Olatuyi, a gifted and passionate evangelist and pastor was a devoted husband, father, grand-father and leader of leaders.
He pastored successfully in Lagos, Nigeria before relocating to Maryland, USA in June 2002, where he pioneered the Maryland church. He served two (2) terms as the National Treasurer of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) under the late Archbishop Idahosa as well as Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
He was the National overseer of Christ Gospel Mission Int. in North America and a treasured member of the General Advisory Council globally. We thank God for his devotion to the King of kings, his zeal for missions and dedication to global evangelism.
At this time of temporal separation, let us lift up his wife, children, family members and the church in prayers; committing them to the comfort of the Holy Spirit, as they focus on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith at this painful period.
Necessary burial announcements would soon be made.
Rest on Soldier!
Reverend Victor Ogunkanmi, General Overseer Christ Gospel Mission Int.

Daddy Olatuyi, Man of humanity! There is time for everything on Earth, a time to plant and a time to reap what is been planted, a time to be born and a time to die. BABA,You have come, you have done your best to the service of GOD and humanity entirely. You will always be […]
I really never envisaged that I would be writing a tribute about my beloved brother and friend, Pastor Dr. Johnson Olatuyi, at this point. The most painful part was that I did not get to speak to him or felicitate with him while going through the unpleasant experience he succumbed to. I still haven’t got […]
Sincerely, Rev Johnson Olatuyi’s news of temporal separation was unexpected and unpleasant. However, we are confident that it has pleased the Lord to call you to rest at this time. Indeed, you have come, fought and won. Dear great general, rest in the bossom of your dear Lord as we ask for sufficient grace for […]
The subject above summarized the character of daddy Olatuyi in our perception. He was very passionate with the things of God to detail. His teaching of the Word always leave anyone ruminating, gesticulating, meditating, regurgitating and digesting the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. Two of His impacting teaching gave these […]
There is a place for the word, prayer, anointing, zeal, skill, education, and experience in ministry, but there is also a place for honor. The former has to do with personal mastery, while the latter has to do with interpersonal relationships in ministry. Although Pastor Olatuyi had all those mentioned earlier under his belt and […]
“Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.” (Rev. 12:14). Wow, Johnson Mine, amazing husband like no other, a rare gem that you are! […]
We thank the Lord for an enviable Christian life of our dear Rev Olatuyi now asleep in the Lord. We had known Rev Olatuyi even before got married as a very humble land surveyor Christian through our dear beloved late Pastor Kehinde Aina. Evangelism was his passion for the Lord, he does this always with a disarming smile. We divinely […]
Your passing was a very bitter pill to swallow, because I didn’t see it coming, but in it all, I chose not to ask God questions. I remembered how you would always take me along when going out with my sister during the time of your courtship. After your wedding, Daddy insisted on my going […]
To Our Father in the Lord, Our Late National Overseer, Dr. Rev. Johnson O. Olatuyi, Daddy Olatuyi came into our life for a few short years, but he came into our life when we needed him the most. Even though our relationship was brief it was filled with impactful and unique experiences that will continue […]
Reverend Olatuyi is a pleasant father and a great man of God. He was very devoted in praying for me when I was going through a challenging time in my life. It is a privilege to have met him as he is truly caring. He has made great impact and his legacy will remain eternally. […]
The news of your transition came as a dream that would never come true. My consolation is eternal life that Jesus purchased for us with His precious blood. My boss, my friend, and sibling from another mum, your indelible marks on humanity generally, the body of Christ and my humble self would forever remain evergreen. […]
