There is Glory Ahead

Johnson’s star shone from the obscurity of this wicked and temporal world;
The powers of darkness could not stop him.
He blazed down the highway of life.
A fervent trailblazer – faithful to His Master’s assignment.
Never a part of the scenery of this world,
His earthly sojourn was an indelible service for unfailing eternal rewards.
How I miss you, beloved brother, friend, dependable minister, and Heaven’s pilgrim!

The outward man of Johnson Olatuyi was taken away by death – the last enemy;
And we feel his absence in Christ Gospel Mission Int. albeit temporarily, all over the globe.
His remains would be interred for a while,
But Johnson did not perish.
Death did not gain him, His Master called him to rest for a while.
Because he had obtained his Maker’s favor and mercy;
He was taken away from the evil to come upon this wicked generation.

Johnson was justified by the blameless Man of Calvary;
El Shaddai was his all-sufficiency throughout life;
Made righteous by the righteous Judge of the whole earth;
Redeemed by the perfect Redeemer who died on the cross;
Healed by Jehovah Rapha;
Sanctified by Jehovah Mekoddishkem;
Sustained by the Desire of all nations;
Kept by the Power of His Word,
With a lively hope of eternity in the presence of the Creator of the ends of the earth.

Today, we mourn and grieve with hope,
We hope in the resurrection of the righteous to everlasting life.
Tomorrow, we will reunite with Johnson and other saints.
Thereafter, we will reign with the King of glory.
Therefore, we are comforted and rejoice.
Because our future is full of unspeakable joy and glory.
